Zephyr started from a fundamental problem in property management. Both landlords and tenants too often get bad advice, poor communication, and, as a result, poor service.
I believe property management works best when the expectations are clear, decisions are thoughtful, and people are treated fairly.

How do we screen tenants?

It all starts with down to earth conversations. We find out whether a tenant is suitable for the rental, and whether the rental is suitable for the tenant. All it takes is a quick chat, then we bring them out for a viewing to confirm suitability.

Our applications are online. Once a prospect fills out their application, we evaluate it based on the property and rent value. We assess their income, credit scores, backgrounds, number of occupants, and request guarantors when needed.

Selection & Approval
Once an application has been selected by us, we'll give you a call and talk about it with you. We give you all the details so that you're not stuck with a tenant you don't want, and advocate for tenants we feel are most suitable for your property. You have the final say.

Why I started Zephyr
After years working in large-scale property management, I saw firsthand how communication gaps, reactive decision-making, and a lack of personal accountability could create frustration for both landlords and tenants.
Too often, property management has become about spreadsheets, processes, and workflows. Those tools are important but they should support good decision-making, not replace it.
At its core, property management is about people. To tenants, these are homes. To landlords, they represent hard-work, financial goals, and a vision for the future. Both deserve to be treated with respect, transparency, and clear communication.
I started Zephyr because I believe that there is another way. My goal is simple: provide practical advice, stay actively involved, and help rental property owners make informed decisions with confidence.
